ᛟ · The meaning behind the design
Symbols carried, not borrowed.
The Vegvisir is an Icelandic magical stave first recorded in the 19th-century Huld Manuscript — not a documented Viking-Age symbol, but one of the most recognizable emblems in modern Norse-inspired design. Its eight arms, each shaped differently, are often associated with guidance and finding your way, even through weather or waters you don't know. Surrounding it here with Elder Futhark runes ties the compass to the wider runic tradition.
