ᛏᚨᛏᛏᛟᛟ · Huginn & Muninn
In the Eddic poem Grímnismál, Odin says he worries that Huginn may not come back, but fears even more for Muninn. Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda adds that the ravens sit on Odin's shoulders and fly out each morning to gather news.
Ravens appear often in Viking Age art and stories, and raven banners are mentioned in accounts of Viking armies.
Wisdom, curiosity and memory, and often a way to honour two people (siblings, partners, a parent and child).
